Pella Inn Hostel

Pella Inn Hostel sits at the corner of Ermou and Karaiskaki, two minutes' walk from Monastiraki Square and directly on the boundary between the Psirri and Monastiraki districts. The location places guests inside one of the densest concentrations of tavernas, flea-market stalls, and ouzeries in the city, and within a short stroll of the Ancient Agora, the Roman Forum, and Hadrian's Library.

The hostel occupies a converted neoclassical-style building and offers a mix of dormitory beds and private rooms, some with shared bathrooms, aimed squarely at backpackers and budget travelers. Its rooftop terrace, opening onto a view that includes the Acropolis rock, has long been one of its main draws, functioning as an informal common room where guests gather in the evenings.

Ermou Street itself runs from Syntagma Square down through Monastiraki, and the Psirri end where the hostel sits has shifted over the past fifteen years from a semi-industrial garment district into a nightlife zone dense with small bars and street art.
