The Foundry Suites

The Foundry Suites occupies a building on Sarri Street in Psirri that was constructed in 1930 to house a type foundry, one of the small manufacturing businesses that historically defined this district before its recent shift toward restaurants, galleries and design hotels. The conversion preserved much of the building's industrial character — exposed brick, steel beams and high ceilings — while adding a small number of loft-style suites rather than a conventional room count.

Sarri Street itself has become one of Psirri's more design-conscious blocks, home to small ateliers and concept stores alongside surviving workshop spaces, and the hotel's architecture fits that transitional streetscape closely. Its rooftop terrace, like several others in the low-rise neighborhood, opens onto a clear line of sight toward the Acropolis.

The location keeps guests within a five-to-ten-minute walk of both Monastiraki Square and the restaurant-dense stretch around Iroon Square and Agias Eirinis Square, giving easy access to Psirri's nightlife without being directly on its busiest, loudest corners.
