Moritzburg Castle is a baroque hunting lodge of the Saxon rulers, surrounded by a lake and set in a forest, and is the setting for the film Three Nuts for Cinderella.
Moritzburg Castle was rebuilt for Augustus the Strong between 1723 and 1736 as a hunting lodge. It stands on an island in a lake, within a wooded landscape, and houses hunting trophies and baroque rooms. Every December it hosts a Cinderella exhibition.
