Saarland Museum - Moderne Galerie

The Moderne Galerie forms part of the Saarlandmuseum complex in central Saarbrücken and ranks among the leading collections of modern and contemporary art in southwestern Germany. The museum runs later on Wednesdays, until 8PM, making early evening a good option for those wanting to avoid daytime crowds, and it offers free admission on Wednesday afternoons from 3PM as well as on the first Sunday of each month, both of which draw larger-than-usual visitor numbers. Weekday mornings shortly after opening tend to be the quietest overall.
