Irrland Adventure and Leisure Park

Irrland Adventure and Leisure Park is a large outdoor family attraction near Kirkel-Limbach in southern Saarland, built around a corn maze and spread across more than 15 hectares of open farmland. The park combines dozens of playground and obstacle attractions, trampolines, water play areas, and the seasonal maze itself, making it aimed squarely at families with children rather than adults seeking a physical or technical challenge. There is no minimum age or fitness requirement; attractions are graded for different age groups, from toddler play areas to bigger trampolines and climbing structures for older children, and under-2s are admitted free. No special skill or prior experience is needed for any of the attractions, and the site is designed for a half-day to full-day family visit rather than a timed activity. Irrland Erlebnispark, the operator, is a long-established regional leisure business that has run the site for many years and maintains its playground and ride equipment to standard German safety norms for outdoor play attractions, with staff present across the grounds. Because the park is a static leisure attraction rather than a guided adventure activity, there is no formal safety briefing beyond signage at individual attractions, and the main practical risks are the same as any outdoor playground: uneven ground in the maze, wet surfaces around the water play areas, and sun exposure across the open farmland site. The park operates from March to November and closes over winter; the busiest and most comfortable period for a visit runs from May to September, when the corn maze is fully grown and the water play areas are in full use. Visitors should bring spare clothes for children using the water attractions, sun protection for the largely unshaded grounds, and closed shoes suitable for walking across grass and gravel paths between attraction zones.
