Afterward the group gathers at a tavern on Goslar's Marktkirchhof for a tasting of Harz game dishes, typically venison or wild boar prepared in regional style, paired with the foraged mushrooms where seasonally appropriate. Included in the price are the guide, the foraging basket to keep, and the game tasting at the Goslar tavern; not included are additional courses beyond the tasting or drinks.
