Independent food-tour guides based in Hannover lead this walk through the city's covered Markthalle on Karmarschstraße, a historic market building housing dozens of individual food stalls. The route moves stall to stall inside the hall, stopping at four to six vendors selected for their specialty, which typically includes regional cheese, cured meats such as Lower Saxon ham, fresh bread, and prepared dishes ready to eat on the spot.
