Okko Hotels Strasbourg Centre

Okko Hotels Strasbourg Centre is a four-star hotel at 42 Rue du Bassin d'Austerlitz, in the Neudorf and Port du Rhin district of Strasbourg, in the Grand Est region of France. The address lies south-east of the Grande Île, near the former port basins that have been redeveloped into a mixed area of housing, offices and shops around the Presqu'île André Malraux. The hotel's website page refers to the Presqu'île Malraux, which indicates the redeveloped waterfront setting. The cathedral and Place Kléber are reachable by tram in roughly ten to fifteen minutes, and the Rhine and the German town of Kehl are also close, which makes the property a practical base for visitors who plan to cross the border. Okko Hotels is a French brand known for a contemporary, design-led approach and a pricing model that aims to include everyday extras, and the Strasbourg property is placed in the upscale category. Room types listed are Double and Twin Rooms, and amenities include wifi and a bar. The bar acts as a common space in the evening, and guests wanting a full meal can find restaurants in the Neudorf neighbourhood and around the Malraux peninsula, as well as in the Grande Île after a tram ride. The character of the hotel is modern and informal rather than historic, which appeals to younger couples, business travellers and anyone who values contemporary design over traditional Alsatian décor. Nightly rates are generally between about 120 and 300 euros, depending on season and demand. No telephone number is recorded in the data, so guests should use the Okko Hotels website for reservations and for confirmation of breakfast, parking and room details. The area is less touristy than the old town, which can make for quieter evenings.
