Casadelmar is a sleek design hotel occupying a forested hillside above the Gulf of Porto-Vecchio on southern Corsica's Corse-du-Sud coastline. Positioned along the Route de Palombaggia — the road leading to Corsica's most celebrated pink-granite beach strip — the property is built into a dense pine forest that descends to a private pontoon and sheltered swimming cove on the Tyrrhenian Sea. The architectural aesthetic is austere minimalism: weathered timber, slate, and glass are woven through indigenous maquis vegetation, keeping the building almost invisible against the hillside.

The hotel holds a Michelin-starred restaurant that showcases Corsican produce — langoustines from local waters, brocciu-filled pasta, and aged Nielluccio wines — within a glass-fronted dining room with uninterrupted sea views. Guest accommodation runs from sea-view rooms to Pool Suites and fully private Villa Suites with plunge pools and wrap-around terraces set within the pinewoods. An infinity pool is cantilevered above the treeline with unobstructed views of the gulf and the Iles Cerbicale nature reserve offshore.
