Les Sources de Poligny spa is a wellness centre on the Avenue de la Gare in Poligny, a market town in the Jura département of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, situated at the foot of the limestone cliffs where the Jura plateau descends toward the Burgundy plain. Poligny is internationally recognised as the capital of Comté cheese production — the surrounding villages and dairy cooperatives produce more Comté appellation cheese than any other locality in France — and the town's agricultural and artisanal character gives the spa a rural Jura identity distinct from urban or resort alternatives. The name of the establishment references the natural mineral springs found throughout the Jura's karst geology, waters characterised by elevated calcium and magnesium bicarbonate content accumulated during their passage through limestone strata. Mineral water bathing forms the hydrological basis of the spa programme, with a pool maintained at approximately 33–35°C for immersive soaking sessions. Relaxation massage using a classical Swedish technique is offered in individual treatment rooms, and aromatherapy treatments apply blended essential oils selected for complementary skin and stress-relief properties.
