Hotel Haaga Central Park

Hotel Haaga Central Park is located at Nuijamiestentie 10 in Haaga, a quiet residential district in the north-west of Helsinki, Finland. The hotel sits beside the Keskuspuisto, or Central Park, a long green belt that runs north from the city and offers forest trails for walking, running and, in winter, cross-country skiing. Tram and bus connections link Haaga to the city centre, and the journey takes a modest amount of time, so the area works well for visitors who prefer a calm setting to the density of the downtown core.

The hotel is a mid-range property with Standard rooms, Superior rooms and Family rooms. Amenities listed include a restaurant, a sauna, wifi and parking. Parking is a notable convenience for visitors with a car, as central Helsinki hotels often charge more or have limited spaces. Typical rates run from about €80 to €160 per night depending on season, making this one of the more affordable choices outside the centre.

Dining centres on the on-site restaurant, and the sauna provides the traditional Finnish way to relax after a day outdoors. The surrounding Haaga area has local shops and cafés, and the Haaga shopping area and nearby neighbourhood services cover everyday needs. Those wanting more varied dining can travel into the centre in the evening.

The service character is relaxed and low-key, suiting families, nature-oriented travellers and visitors attending events or business in the north-western suburbs. The proximity to the Keskuspuisto is the main attraction: paths lead through forest to the Haaga Rhododendron Park and onwards towards Pitäjänmäki and the Vantaa river valley. Nearby too is the Helsinki Central Park's network of lit trails that are used for jogging year-round.

Visitors should plan transport in advance, since this is not a walk-to-everything location. The trade-off is lower prices, quiet nights and quick access to nature, which many travellers value on longer stays.
