Many Tallinn restaurants offer children's menus and high chairs; ask when booking.
Most restaurants open for lunch around 12:00 and serve dinner from 17:00; early dinners with children are easy.
Look for rye-bread, potato dishes, pancakes (pannkoogid) and sweet curd snacks (kohuke) as child-friendly local food.
Telliskivi Creative City and the Rotermann Quarter have casual eateries with outdoor seating.
Tap water is safe to drink in Estonia.
Tipping 5-10 percent is customary but not required.

Build downtime into every day — over-scheduled kids melt down faster than tired adults.
Carry snacks, water, and a small first-aid kit at all times.
Many attractions offer discounted family tickets — ask at the ticket window.
