There is no chef pedigree associated with the venue; its popularity comes entirely from doing one thing consistently well, grilled goat meat known locally as chevre braise, served alongside beer in a lively outdoor terrace setting. The menu is narrow by design, centred on the grilled goat meat prepared to order over open flame, which means a wait of up to an hour is common while the meat grills, a trade-off regulars accept for the quality of the result. The terrace itself is basic and functional, with plastic furniture and an open-air layout that fills with a local crowd on warm Kinshasa evenings, and the atmosphere is loud, sociable, and unpretentious rather than composed or quiet. There is no wine or cocktail programme; beer is the primary drink, in keeping with the terrace's identity as a casual evening hangout rather than a dining destination in the fine-dining sense. Dress code is entirely casual. Because Cheetah 2 does not accept reservations, diners are expected to arrive and wait for a table, particularly during the busiest evening and late-night hours when the terrace is at its most crowded.
