The Gothic parish church of the Upper Town, with the famous tiled roof showing the arms of Croatia and Zagreb.
St. Mark's Church dates back to the 13th century and was given its present Gothic form in the 14th and 15th centuries. The 15th-century south portal is filled with sculptures of Christ, Mary and the apostles. The colourful tiled roof was added during the reconstruction of 1876-1882 and shows the coats of arms of the Triune Kingdom and Zagreb. The interior contains frescoes by Jozo Kljaković and a crucifix by Ivan Meštrović.
