Dubrovnik Neretva Nightlife Guide 2025
Discover the best bars, clubs, and evening entertainment in Dubrovnik Neretva.
Dubrovnik-Neretva County is Croatia's southernmost county, renowned for the UNESCO-listed walled city of Dubrovnik, the Pelješac Peninsula with its world-class wines and oysters, and the lush Neretva River delta. The region encompasses stunning Adriatic coastline, idyllic islands including Korčula, Mljet, and the Elafiti archipelago, and historic towns that blend Venetian and Ragusan architectural heritage.
Dubrovnik's nightlife is surprisingly lively for a small city, concentrated in and around Old Town with a mix of atmospheric cliff bars, wine bars, cocktail lounges, and open-air summer clubs. The scene is international, driven largely by tourism, but locals join in enthusiastically especially on weekends. Cavtat, Korčula, and Orebić have quieter but pleasant evening scenes.

Best Bars
Top spots for drinks and socializing.
Buža Bar (original)
One of the world's most famous bars, literally cut into the outer city wall with a small wooden platform perched above the sea. Approach through a hole in the wall ('buža') on Ulica od Margarite. Cash only, drinks are basic, but the setting is incomparable.
Buža II (Caffe Bar)
The second, larger buža bar further along the wall with more seating, better drink selection, and equally stunning Adriatic views. Popular for sunset watching and often less crowded than the original.
D'Vino Wine Bar
Dubrovnik's finest wine bar with an extraordinary selection of Croatian wines — Pelješac Dingač, Korčula Pošip, Dalmatian Plavac Mali — and knowledgeable staff to guide your choices. Excellent charcuterie and cheese to accompany.
Bard Cocktail Bar
A sophisticated cocktail bar in Old Town's main square with skilled bartenders making both classic cocktails and creative drinks using local ingredients like Maraschino (Dubrovnik's iconic cherry liqueur).
Tramonto Sunset Bar
Perched on the rocks along Pile Bay with unobstructed sunset views, Tramonto is the go-to spot for golden hour cocktails before the evening begins. The terrace fills up quickly — arrive 30 minutes before sunset.
Cave Bar More
Literally inside a natural sea cave at the Boutique Hotel More in Lapad, with sections of the bar cut into the cliff over the sea. Spectacular setting for an afternoon or evening drink.
Skybar at Valamar Lacroma
The rooftop bar at Valamar Lacroma hotel in Babin Kuk offers sweeping views of the Elafiti Islands and open Adriatic — perfect for sundowners with good cocktails.
Gaffe Pub
Dubrovnik's most popular pub with expats, international residents, and sports fans. Live music some nights, big screens for major matches, and a good range of draft beers including some Croatian crafts.
Clubs & Dancing
Where to dance the night away.
Eastwest Beach Club
Dubrovnik's most glamorous club venue on Banje Beach with city wall views; DJs, pool parties in summer, and a consistently international crowd. The daytime beach club transforms into a nightclub after 11PM.
Club Revelin
Dubrovnik's most serious club venue, hosted inside the 16th-century Revelin Fortress at the entrance to Old Town. International DJs, impressive sound system, and a unique historic setting.
Evening Entertainment
Beyond bars and clubs.

Cave Bar More (Lapad), Skybar at Valamar (Babin Kuk), and rooftop terraces at several hotels in Lapad
