Hushan Mansion (Yaohu Town Scenic Area)

Hushan Mansion (Yaohu Town Scenic Area) (湖山公馆) is a resort hotel in the Yaohu Town scenic area of Zhangzhu Town, in the west of Yixing, Jiangsu province, China. Zhangzhu lies in the hill country around 30 kilometres or more from central Yicheng and is associated with lakes, bamboo and tea hills, so this is a destination stay rather than a city base. Guests normally arrive by car or taxi, and the trip from central Yixing takes roughly 40 to 60 minutes. The resort lists Lake-view Room and Villa types, reflecting a low-density layout oriented toward the water and surrounding scenery. Typical nightly rates run about CNY 600-900 (roughly $88-132 USD), the highest among the hotels listed for Yixing and appropriate for a lakeside resort with villas. Listed amenities are a lake view, a restaurant and gardens. The restaurant is the primary dining facility, which matters in a scenic area where independent restaurants are sparse, and it is likely to focus on local Jiangsu cooking with lake and mountain ingredients, though specific dishes are not documented here. No pool, spa or gym is listed, so activities centre on walking in the gardens, lakeside strolling and day trips to nearby caves and bamboo forests. Service is oriented toward leisure travellers, couples and families seeking quiet weekend retreats, and villas suit small groups. English support may be limited, so the Chinese address (宜兴张渚镇尧湖景区) is helpful for drivers. Visitors should confirm meal arrangements and any scenic-area access rules when booking. Rates vary by season and holiday weeks, so live prices should be checked on Trip.com or Booking.com.
