Hyatt Place Chongli

Hyatt Place Chongli is an upper mid-range ski-in, ski-out hotel inside the Thaiwoo Ski and Mountain Activity Resort in Chongli District, Zhangjiakou, Hebei Province, China. Chongli hosted snow events for the 2022 Winter Olympics, and Thaiwoo is one of the resort zones that serve the area's ski slopes, with the hotel positioned so that the slopes are steps from the lobby. The setting is a purpose-built mountain resort village, so the surroundings consist of other hotels, shops, restaurants and ski facilities rather than an established town, and Zhangjiakou city and the high-speed rail link toward Beijing lie some distance away by road. The hotel has the clean, contemporary style of the Hyatt Place brand, adapted to the mountain setting with practical spaces for ski equipment and a relaxed lobby where guests can gather after a day on the slopes. Rooms are offered as Standard Rooms, Deluxe Rooms and Suites, comfortable and warm, with Suites giving families and groups more space. Amenities include ski-in and ski-out access, ski storage, a restaurant, a bar, Wi-Fi and a fitness center. Dining is centered on the on-site restaurant, which serves breakfast and meals, and the bar is a gathering place in the evening, with additional restaurants and cafes elsewhere in the Thaiwoo resort. Service is informal and geared to winter sports visitors, with staff who can help with lift tickets, rentals and lessons through the resort. The hotel is most active between December and March, the snow season, when advance booking is important, and offers a quieter base in summer for hiking and mountain activities. The phone number listed for the property is +86 313 477 8188. World of Hyatt members can earn points and use member benefits at the property.
