Luoyang Bridge, also called Wanan Bridge, crosses the Luoyang River estuary in Luoyang Town, Luojiang District, Quanzhou, Fujian. It was built between 1053 and 1059 under the Northern Song official Cai Xiang, who served as prefect of Quanzhou and later wrote about the project. The bridge originally measured about 1,200 metres, though the surviving stretch is shorter after later silting and repairs, and it rests on 46 boat-shaped piers of granite laid across the tidal flats.

The pier foundation technique, often called the 'sowing oysters' method, relied on oyster colonies growing over the stonework and binding the blocks together, an unusual biological reinforcement for the era. Beams were cut from enormous granite slabs and set on the piers at low tide, using the rising water to float them into position. Pavilions at the bridge ends and carved guardian figures along the walkway, plus inscribed tablets recording Cai Xiang's role, give the structure a ceremonial dimension. The bridge was repaired several times during the Ming and Qing dynasties and again in the 20th century, and today the pedestrian crossing and a small museum are maintained as a heritage park. The setting by the estuary is open and exposed, with tidal mudflats on either side. Interpretation is by site panels and a displays room, with limited English. The bridge represents the state-sponsored infrastructure that supported Quanzhou's trade boom, as it shortened the route to the port city's interior and Luoyang's riverside harbour.
