The Trebević Cable Car climbs from the Bistrik lower station near the Miljacka River in Sarajevo, in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, to the ridge of Mount Trebević above the city. Originally opened in 1959 and destroyed in the 1992-1995 siege, the gondola line was rebuilt and reopened in 2018, carrying visitors about 800 metres of elevation in roughly 10 minutes. The cabins give wide views over the old town, the Miljacka valley and the surrounding hills.

At the upper station, visitors find a restaurant, a café, walking trails and an open area with sweeping panoramas of Sarajevo. A short hike along forest paths leads to the abandoned Olympic bobsled and luge track built for the 1984 Winter Olympics. The concrete run, scarred by war and now covered in colourful graffiti, winds through the pine forest and has become a popular place for walking and photography. Hikers follow the track for a while, passing curves such as the famous banked turns, and may continue to other trails on the mountain. A visit takes two to three hours including the ride, the walk on the bobsled track and a coffee at the top. Clear days and late afternoon give the best light for city views and sunset, while weekends in summer and holidays are busiest, with queues at the lower station. Weather on the ridge is cooler and windier than in the valley, so a light jacket is advisable. The lower station is about a 12-minute walk from Baščaršija. Return tickets cost around BAM 20-25, and visitors should check seasonal hours and maintenance closures. Walkers should stay on marked paths because some mined areas from the war remain in the wider Trebević region; established tracks and the bobsled run are regularly used.
