Hilton Brussels Grand Place

Hilton Brussels Grand Place is at Carrefour de l'Europe 3, directly beside Gare Centrale in Brussels, Belgium. The location is its defining strength: trains run from the station to Brussels Airport, to Bruges, Ghent and Antwerp, and the metro connects to the rest of the city, so visitors can arrive and leave with minimal transfers. The Grand Place is a short walk away, as are the Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert, the Mont des Arts and the Cathedral of St Michael and St Gudula. The hotel is a modern, upscale international property rather than a historic building, and its facilities are aimed at both business and leisure travellers. Rooms are offered as Guest rooms, Executive rooms and Suites with air conditioning and Wi-Fi, and Executive rooms generally add lounge access in line with Hilton's standard offering. Typical rates are about €150-250 per night in low season and €180-290 in high season. Dining is available at the on-site restaurant, where a substantial breakfast buffet is the main meal for most guests, and the hotel bar serves drinks in the evening. A fitness room is available for guests who exercise during their stay. The service character is efficient and business-oriented, with meeting needs well served by the central position, yet it also suits families and couples on a short city break who value easy rail connections. Because the area around a main station can be busy at commuter hours and less atmospheric late at night than the Grand Place district, guests may prefer to walk toward the historic centre for dinner. The pedestrian streets around the Rue des Bouchers and the Sainte-Catherine quarter are both within walking distance for evening meals.
