Wake Up! Sydney Central

Wake Up! Sydney Central is a purpose-built backpacker hostel at 509 Pitt Street, occupying a converted heritage building one block south of Central Station in Sydney's southern CBD. Its proximity to Central Station — one of the city's two main rail hubs — makes it one of the most transport-connected budget accommodation options in Sydney. The Airport Link train from Central reaches the domestic terminal in approximately 13 minutes and the international terminal in around 20 minutes, removing the need for taxis or expensive airport transfers on arrival and departure days.

Accommodation spans dormitory-style bunk rooms in four- to ten-bed configurations and private rooms catering to solo travellers, couples, and small groups. Dormitory guests receive a personal reading light, power outlet at each bunk, and access to secured lockers. Private en-suite rooms are available at a modest premium over standard private rooms, which use shared bathrooms cleaned on a regular schedule. All rooms are accessed by key card and monitored by building security.
