Shearwater's Explorers Village

Shearwater's Explorers Village sits on West Drive in Victoria Falls, roughly 400 metres from the Falls themselves, close enough that spray is sometimes visible from the property, and within easy reach of the town's craft markets and entertainment district. The lodge is built on open bushland around a waterhole that draws elephant and buffalo, giving it a safari-camp atmosphere despite its proximity to town. Accommodation is split across three tiers: 54 four-star deluxe rooms, 42 three-star standard rooms, and budget serviced tents with communal facilities, with all permanent rooms fitted with air conditioning, mosquito nets, en-suite bathrooms, safes, tea and coffee stations, USB charging, and Wi-Fi. The on-site restaurant and bar serves breakfast (included in room rates) and is the social centre of the property in the evenings, complemented by a campfire area for guests. A swimming pool and gardens that support active birdlife round out the leisure facilities; there is no spa or fitness centre.
