Blackwater Falls State Park Lodge sits within one of West Virginia's most dramatic natural settings, perched above the canyon carved by the Blackwater River in Tucker County. The park takes its name from the amber-colored Blackwater River, whose tannin-stained waters tumble 57 feet over a series of falls before coursing through an 8-mile canyon flanked by dense spruce-fir forest. The lodge at 1584 Blackwater Lodge Road in Davis offers state-managed lodging that places guests steps from the park's most spectacular scenery.
