The hotel is close to Seattle University and the medical campuses of First Hill, and Capitol Hill Station on Link light rail is within reach, giving a direct ride to downtown, the University of Washington and Sea-Tac Airport. Volunteer Park, with its conservatory and water tower views, and the Seattle Asian Art Museum are a moderate walk or short ride north. The hotel is part of the Silver Cloud group, a Pacific Northwest family-owned chain known for comfortable, consistent lodging. Room types include king rooms and double queen rooms. Listed amenities include an indoor pool, free breakfast and a fitness centre. The indoor pool is an unusual feature in the area and works well in wet weather, while the complimentary breakfast trims daily expenses. The neighbourhood is among the best in Seattle for dining, with cafes, bakeries, bars and restaurants across a wide range of cuisines and prices within a few blocks. Nightly rates typically run from about $130 to $290. Service is practical, suitable for leisure travellers who want to stay in a lively district, hospital visitors and families, and visitors to Seattle University. Guests should verify current rates, parking charges and booking details at the property website, as street parking in Capitol Hill is tight and hotel parking is usually charged separately.
