Goblin Valley is a small state park built around a valley floor covered in mushroom-shaped sandstone hoodoos, most of them low enough to walk right up to and among rather than viewing from a distance. Unlike most parks in the state, there are no marked trails through the main valley - visitors are free to walk between the formations as they choose, which makes it a good stop for families or anyone short on time. It pairs naturally with a stop at Little Wild Horse Canyon, a nearby slot canyon in the same area.
