Cameron Estate Inn occupies a Federal-style manor house built in 1805 on a 15-acre rural property in Mount Joy Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The estate takes its name from Simon Cameron, a 19th-century Pennsylvania industrialist and political figure who served as U.S. Senator and as Secretary of War under President Abraham Lincoln. The original manor house was expanded over successive generations, and the property's current grounds include formal herb and cutting gardens, mature hardwood trees, and wooded walking paths extending through the rear acreage. Mount Joy Borough is approximately six miles north, Lancaster City is about 14 miles east, and the property is accessible by car only—no transit service reaches this part of Lancaster County.

Guest rooms are distributed between the main Federal manor house and a converted carriage house on the grounds. Accommodations in the manor house feature four-poster beds, wide-plank flooring, period wallcoverings, and antique furniture consistent with the building's early 19th-century character. Garden Suites and Manor Suites in the carriage house offer more generous floor plans with sitting areas. All room rates include a full breakfast. The inn's dinner restaurant serves contemporary American cuisine in a formal dining room and is open to the public by reservation. The grounds attract couples celebrating anniversaries and honeymoons, as well as Lancaster County visitors touring Amish Country, attending the Sight & Sound Theatres in Strasburg, or visiting the region's covered bridges and farm markets.
