Inn at Price Tower

The Inn at Price Tower occupies the upper floors of Price Tower at 510 Dewey Avenue in downtown Bartlesville, the only skyscraper Frank Lloyd Wright ever saw built, completed in 1956 and designated a National Historic Landmark. The 19-story copper-and-glass tower was converted into a boutique inn in 2003, and its distinctive quarter-turn floor plan gives nearly every room an unusual triangular or trapezoidal shape rather than a standard rectangle. Guests choose between Heritage rooms and larger Tower suites, several with copper-clad balconies and views over downtown Bartlesville and the surrounding Osage hills. Dining is handled by Copper Restaurant + Bar on the 15th floor, an upscale spot built around the same geometric architecture as the rooms below, serving dinner with panoramic views. The building's lower floors house the Price Tower Arts Center, with rotating exhibitions on modern art, architecture, and design that guests can explore without leaving the property. There is no full-service spa or pool, but the inn's 24-hour front desk and small scale give it a personal, architecture-focused service style suited to travelers visiting specifically for the Wright building rather than families seeking resort amenities.
