Frontier Restaurant

Frontier Restaurant has been a landmark of the University of New Mexico district since 1971, occupying a sprawling, brightly lit space at the corner of Central Avenue and Cornell Drive on Historic Route 66. Open 24 hours a day, every day of the year, the Frontier is among Albuquerque's most democratic dining institutions — its vast booths have hosted students, professors, construction workers, night-shift employees, and curious visitors in equal measure across more than five decades.
