New Jersey State Aquarium (Adventure Aquarium)

Adventure Aquarium in Camden, New Jersey sits on the Delaware River waterfront at 1 Riverside Drive, directly across from Philadelphia's Penn's Landing, and is New Jersey's most-visited aquarium. The facility houses more than 8,000 aquatic animals across two million gallons of water in exhibits spanning five continents of aquatic habitats. The 4D theater, touch tanks with stingrays and horseshoe crabs, jellyfish displays, sea turtle exhibits, and themed children's areas fill the rest of the facility. Daily shark dive programs allow SCUBA-certified adults to enter the main shark tank with a guide. The aquarium's riverside location means the plaza outside offers views of the Philadelphia skyline from the New Jersey side. The PATCO Speedline from Philadelphia provides direct access to Broadway and City Hall stops, both within walking distance.
