The Choptank

Named for the Eastern Shore river that feeds into the Chesapeake, the restaurant puts Maryland's defining seafood traditions at the centre of a menu built around locally sourced crabs, oysters, and rockfish. The jumbo lump crab cake—available both as a sandwich ($22) and as a plated entrée ($35)—is the signature dish and holds up well against more expensive competitors in the Baltimore dining scene.
