Ewa Hotel Waikiki

Ewa Hotel Waikiki is at 2555 Cartwright Road in Honolulu, Hawaii, at the Diamond Head end of Waikiki, a block off Kalakaua Avenue and Kapiolani Park. The side-street location is quieter than the main avenues and keeps the hotel within a short walk of Kuhio Beach, the Waikiki Wall and the Honolulu Zoo. Kalakaua Avenue's bus and trolley stops are close, and Daniel K. Inouye International Airport is roughly 9 miles away.

Room types include Studios and Kitchenette Rooms. Listed rates run from about US$110 to US$210 per night, which places the hotel in the budget tier for Waikiki and makes it one of the lower-priced options near the beach. The kitchenettes allow guests to prepare simple meals, reducing the cost of a longer stay in an expensive destination. Resort fees and parking may apply and should be checked at booking.

The amenities listed are kitchenettes and proximity to Kuhio Beach. The property is a small, simple hotel and does not have the pools, spas and restaurant complexes of larger resorts, so guests rely on the beach, the park and neighbouring restaurants. Within a few minutes' walk are cafes, convenience stores and long-established local restaurants toward Kapahulu Avenue, where plate lunches, noodles and shave ice are popular.

Service is basic and straightforward, with a front desk and help with local advice. The hotel suits budget travellers, couples and surfers who prefer to spend time outdoors and want to be near the quieter Diamond Head side of the district. Visitors who want resort facilities, a pool or on-site dining should look at larger properties nearby. The hotel's own website is not listed in the available data, so details should be confirmed with the property before booking.
