Rosen Shingle Creek

Rosen Shingle Creek is an upscale hotel at 9939 Universal Blvd, Orlando, Florida, on or near International Drive and the Orange County Convention Center. Rosen Shingle Creek is a large resort set along Shingle Creek, which is the headwaters of the Everglades system. The grounds are wooded and spacious compared with the strip hotels on International Drive. Nearby, the Orange County Convention Center and the Orlando Premium Outlets area are easy to reach, and the Orange County Convention Center, Pointe Orlando, the I-Ride Trolley and the International Drive restaurant corridor are close, and SeaWorld Orlando and Universal Orlando are a short drive. Orlando International Airport (MCO) is about 20 to 30 minutes away by car, depending on traffic on the Beachline Expressway (FL-528). Amenities include multiple pools, golf course, spa, several restaurants, free shuttle to theme parks, fitness centre and resort fee applies. Accommodation is offered as Deluxe King, Deluxe Double and Suite, so visitors can match the room to a solo, couple or family stay. The property suits convention guests, golfers, families and groups. International Drive traffic is heavy in the late afternoon; use the I-Ride Trolley for short hops along the strip rather than driving. Nightly rates generally run about $200-$420 USD before taxes and fees, rising during school holidays, spring break, summer and any large convention or event. January to early March and September to early November have lower rates; convention weeks can lift prices at any time of year. With a 4.4 rating, Rosen Shingle Creek is a dependable choice. In short: Large convention resort on Universal Boulevard with an on-site golf course, several pools and a spa.
