Aventura Mall

Aventura Mall is a large enclosed shopping center at 19501 Biscayne Boulevard in Aventura, northeast Miami-Dade County, Florida. It is among the biggest and busiest malls in the United States, with more than 300 stores spread across multiple levels, and anchors that include Nordstrom, Bloomingdale's, Macy's and Apple. The brand mix covers mainstream fashion, electronics, beauty, sportswear and home goods, with a luxury wing that houses brands such as Louis Vuitton, Gucci and Tiffany. It differs from the open-air luxury of Bal Harbour Shops by combining mass-market and high-end retail under one air-conditioned roof, which makes it a reliable choice on hot or rainy days. The merchandise is authentic brand-name goods, and because the mall is a large retail complex rather than a souvenir market, there are very few tourist trinkets. The mall is also known for a contemporary art collection, with large installations by internationally recognized artists displayed in the public areas, which gives the building a gallery-like feel. Prices are fixed and bargaining is not customary, though sales run through the year around holidays and seasonal changes. Cards and mobile payments are accepted everywhere, and Florida sales tax applies; there is no tourist tax-refund scheme in the United States. Dining includes a large food court, sit-down restaurants such as Cheesecake Factory and Shake Shack, plus cafes and dessert stops. The atmosphere is energetic and international, with Spanish, Portuguese and English heard throughout, and Saturdays and holiday periods can be very crowded. Weekday mornings are the easiest time for shopping, while evenings and weekends bring the largest crowds. Opening hours are typically 10:00 AM to 9:30 PM Monday through Saturday and 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Sunday. Large parking garages surround the mall, valet parking is offered, and rideshare drop-off zones are available at several entrances.
