Bayfront Park, at 301 Biscayne Boulevard in downtown Miami, Florida, is a waterfront green space on Biscayne Bay that offers a broad, open frame of the bay, passing boats and the Brickell skyline to the south. The park contains several recognizable foreground subjects, including the Torch of Friendship memorial, the curved lawns and palm-lined paths, the amphitheater and the marina edge, and the adjacent Bayside Marketplace and Port of Miami cranes add urban context.

The bay lies to the east, so sunrise brings warm light over the water and onto boat hulls, while sunset light falls on the downtown towers behind and on the Brickell buildings seen from the south side of the park. Photographers favor sunset and early evening for the glow on glass towers and for the blue hour that follows, when the city lights reflect on the water. Sunrise is quieter and good for silhouettes of moored boats and bayside palms. The clearest conditions occur from November to April, when humidity is lower; summer brings dramatic cloud and sudden storms. The park is a major event venue, hosting concerts, festivals and holiday celebrations, so crowds and temporary stages can block sightlines on event days; visitors should check the park calendar before planning a shoot. On ordinary days it is busy with joggers, office workers and tourists but offers many open positions for a tripod. There is no general admission fee, though event access can be ticketed. Tripods are normally acceptable for casual use if they do not obstruct paths, and large commercial productions need a permit from the City of Miami. Drones are restricted in this area because of the nearby port, downtown buildings and airport flight corridors. Restrooms are found at several points in the park, and cafes and shops are available at the adjacent Bayside Marketplace. Paths are paved and flat, so the main vantage points are reached without a hike.
