Hotel in the historic Podil district close to Kontraktova Square and the Dnipro embankment.
Radisson Blu Hotel Kyiv Podil is an upscale hotel listed at Bratska Street 17/19 in Podil, the historic lower-town district of Kyiv, Ukraine. Podil is one of the oldest quarters of the capital, laid out on the flat land between the Dnipro river and the hills of the Upper Town, and the hotel sits close to Kontraktova Square and the Dnipro embankment. The funicular, the riverside promenade, the Mazepa-era churches and the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy campus are within walking distance, and Kontraktova Ploshcha metro station is nearby. The district has a creative, walkable atmosphere with independent cafes, craft bars, galleries and a lively weekend street scene, which contrasts with the formal government quarter on the hills above. As a Radisson Blu property, the hotel follows the chain's international standards, with rooms in the Standard Double, Superior, Family and Suite categories. Listed amenities include wifi, air conditioning, a restaurant and 24-hour reception. Breakfast is usually served in the restaurant, and the neighbourhood offers a wide range of Ukrainian, Georgian and international dining options for other meals. A pool or spa is not listed, so wellness-minded visitors should confirm what the property offers. Service is geared toward business travellers and leisure guests alike, with reception able to arrange transfers, river-cruise information and local excursions. Prices run at roughly UAH 4,500-7,500 per night (approximately USD 100-165), placing the hotel in the upper-mid bracket for Kyiv. The Podil location suits visitors who prefer a walkable, atmospheric neighbourhood to the more formal centre around Khreshchatyk, and the embankment provides evening walks and views of the river. Travellers are advised to confirm current operating details and facilities directly with the hotel before booking.
