Awaza Yyldyz Hotel

Awaza Yyldyz Hotel is set within the Awaza National Tourist Zone on the eastern shore of the Caspian Sea, approximately 12 km from the centre of Turkmenbashi (formerly Krasnovodsk), the main port city of western Turkmenistan. The Awaza zone was developed from the mid-2000s onward as a state-directed project to establish domestic and regional beach tourism on Turkmenistan's Caspian coastline, and the Yyldyz (meaning "star" in Turkmen) is among the zone's larger and more comprehensively equipped properties. Turkmenbashi International Airport lies approximately 20 km from the resort; transfers are available on request. The Awaza zone is connected to Turkmenbashi by a dedicated boulevard and is effectively a self-contained resort enclave.

The hotel's architecture is part of the monumental modernist ensemble characterising Awaza, with a tall main tower, broad frontage, and grounds extending to a private beach on the Caspian. Room configurations range from standard doubles to sea-view suites, with sea-facing rooms commanding premium rates. Three outdoor pools — one designated for children — occupy the beach club area alongside direct access to the Caspian shore and water sports equipment including jet skis and pedal boats. Four dining venues serve the resort: a main à-la-carte restaurant covering Turkmen and European cuisines, a poolside grill, a beach bar open through peak season, and a large buffet breakfast hall. A full spa with massage, steam, and treatment rooms and a gym serve the wellness offering. A structured kids club with supervised activities operates during summer season. All-inclusive packages are available in the June–August peak. The hotel draws primarily domestic Turkmen vacationers, Central Asian visitors, and government-hosted delegations; service delivery is resort-volume oriented rather than boutique. The most active period is late June through August when the Caspian water temperature peaks.
