The Reef Resort occupies a private stretch of Kapa Island in the Vava'u group, reached by a 15-minute water-taxi transfer from Neiafu Harbour, the main port and administrative centre of the northern island group. Kapa Island sits within one of the South Pacific's most celebrated cruising grounds — a sheltered archipelago of roughly 60 islands threaded by turquoise channels — and the resort's isolated position provides quick access to both the open-ocean whale swimming grounds and the inner harbour's protected reef systems.
