The Narima

The Narima is a boutique beachfront resort occupying a stretch of Klong Muang Beach, one of Krabi Province's quieter coastal strips situated roughly 25 kilometres north of Ao Nang and 15 kilometres from Krabi Town. The beach here is rarely crowded, and the resort sits directly on the sand beneath a stand of mature coconut palms that shade the bungalows and give the property its relaxed, tropical character. A free shuttle to Ao Nang runs several times daily for guests who want to access the ferry piers and main restaurant strip.

The 26 bungalows are built in a traditional Thai timber style and spread along the beachfront and garden zones. Standard garden bungalows offer twin or double configurations with ceiling fans and air conditioning, while the superior beachfront bungalows open directly onto the sand and deliver unobstructed sunset views across the Andaman Sea. All bungalows are simply furnished but maintained in good repair and come equipped with private bathrooms and basic amenities.

The open-air restaurant serves Thai and Western dishes throughout the day, with particularly strong sunset viewing from the terrace tables. Breakfasts are made to order and include fresh tropical fruit, eggs, and toast. There is no spa on site, but in-room massage can be arranged on request.

The property maintains a modest pool area for days when the sea is rough. Kayaks and snorkelling equipment are available for hire at the beach. Staff are well-practised at arranging longtail boat charters to the Four Islands and the Phi Phi group, all of which depart from a nearby pier. The Narima suits travellers who want genuine beach access without the resort-hotel atmosphere of neighbouring luxury properties, at rates that remain reasonable for this section of Krabi coastline.
