Sri Lanta Resort

Sri Lanta Resort is positioned on the less-developed southern end of Ko Lanta Yai, an island accessible by road from Krabi via two short vehicle ferry crossings. The property sits on a hillside and beachfront plot above a quieter section of beach, away from the busier Lanta Long Beach and Klong Dao areas in the north of the island. The resort has become a benchmark eco-conscious property in the Krabi region, having reduced single-use plastics, planted a community garden, and built accommodation to preserve existing trees wherever possible. Bungalows, villas, and treehouse-style units are distributed across the tropical grounds; accommodation ranges from fan-cooled hillside bungalows to air-conditioned beachfront villas with direct sea access. The design draws on traditional southern Thai vernacular, with locally sourced timber, bamboo screens, and open terraces that maximise the coastal breeze. The restaurant serves Thai cuisine with a menu that leans heavily on seasonal local ingredients and freshly caught fish; breakfast is included in most rates and is reliably good. A freeform pool and swim-up bar front the beach. A yoga deck positioned above the sea hosts daily sunrise and sunset sessions, and the resort periodically offers longer retreat programmes. Snorkelling from the beach is accessible at high tide, and the resort maintains a fleet of sea kayaks for paddling to nearby coves. The sunset-facing bar is a reference point on the island for evening drinks, drawing visitors as well as guests. The team maintains strong relationships with dive operators running trips to nearby Koh Rok and Hin Daeng, two of Thailand's most celebrated dive sites.
