Four Seasons Koh Samui

Four Seasons Koh Samui is a hillside pool villa resort on the northeastern coast of Koh Samui island, in the Ang Thong subdistrict of Ko Samui district, Surat Thani province. The northeast coast is among Samui's least-developed and most scenic — removed from the Chaweng party scene to the east and the crowded ferry ports to the north — and the resort takes full advantage of the dramatic topography. The 74 pool villas and residences occupy a steep hillside above a private beach, each structured like a small building on its own terrace with a private plunge or lap pool, an outdoor sala (pavilion), and unobstructed views over the Gulf of Thailand. At sunset, the eastern exposure frames warm light across the water in a scene distinct from west-facing Andaman Sea properties. Architecture combines modern Thai elements with dramatic open-plan interiors; cathedral ceilings, natural stone bathrooms, and indoor-outdoor flows are standard across all room types. The Tree Bar, suspended on a wooden deck between mature banyan trees, is the resort's social centrepiece for cocktails and light bites.
