Pattaya Backpacker Hostel

Pattaya Backpacker Hostel is located on Soi 1 off North Pattaya Road, placing it within a 5-minute walk of the North Pattaya Beach access point and approximately 10 minutes on foot from the North Pattaya Bus Terminal, which operates services to Bangkok's Mo Chit and Ekkamai stations. The surrounding area is more residential and quieter than South Pattaya, with local restaurants, convenience stores and a fresh market within easy reach on the main North Pattaya Road.

The hostel is a compact, no-frills operation in a converted shophouse-style building on a quiet soi. Accommodation is primarily dormitory-based, with mixed bunk rooms in four- and six-bed configurations. Each bunk includes a privacy curtain, individual power socket and personal locker storage. A small number of private rooms with shared bathrooms are available for guests preferring more space. Common areas include a communal kitchen where guests can store and prepare food independently, and a reception-area lounge with seating and information boards.

The front desk is staffed throughout the day and is a useful resource for orientation: staff advise on songthaew routes, point out reputable tour operators for day trips to Ko Larn, Nong Nooch Tropical Garden and the Crocodile Farm, and assist with luggage storage for guests arriving before the check-in window.
