Cvetličarna

Cvetličarna is a large hall for concerts and club events at Podutiška cesta 37, in the Šiška-Podutik area on the western side of Ljubljana, Slovenia. Its name, meaning 'the flower shop', comes from the building's earlier use, and today it is one of the capital's larger event spaces, suited to shows that outgrow smaller clubs. The crowd depends entirely on the night: pop and rock audiences of mixed ages, young electronic-music fans at club events, and local followers of Slovenian and regional artists. Ages typically range from late teens to the forties, and the atmosphere is that of a big-hall gig, with standing room, a large stage and a bar at the back or side. There is no strict dress code, and casual going-out clothing is typical.

Music programming spans electronic, pop and rock, with larger touring acts, regional stars, DJ nights and festival-style events. The drinks programme is basic and designed for volume: draught and bottled beer, spirits, wine and soft drinks, usually at event prices slightly above those of small underground clubs but below tourist-area bars. Cocktail service is not the focus.

Opening hours follow the events calendar, and the venue is generally closed when no event is scheduled. Doors usually open in the evening, and club events can run into the early hours. Tickets typically cost about €10-40, depending on the act, and popular shows may sell out, so advance purchase through the venue website or ticket outlets is advisable.
