Anse La Reunion's compact village — a few minutes' walk from the property — has family-run restaurants serving Creole fish dishes and a small supermarket for basic self-catering supplies. The ferry to Praslin departs from the jetty nearby several times daily with the crossing taking around 15 minutes.

Anse Source d'Argent — La Digue's famous beach of layered pink granite boulders and shallow turquoise water — is a 15-minute cycle ride through the working coconut plantation of L'Union Estate. The quieter Grand Anse and Petite Anse on the island's eastern shore are reachable in 20–25 minutes. Hosts share useful local knowledge about tide times, walking trails, and less-visited snorkelling sites. The property suits budget travellers and independent guests who want a functional, unpretentious base on a genuinely car-free island.
