May–September
Mild to warm temperatures, long daylight hours, outdoor events, and the famous White Nights phenomenon in June–July make this the most atmospheric time to visit Saint Petersburg.
Months to Avoid
November–February
Harsh winters with temperatures regularly below -10°C, very short daylight hours (as few as 6 hours of daylight in December), and dreary grey skies make this the least pleasant time to visit.
