Doha is Qatar's capital, a Gulf waterfront city where the Museum of Islamic Art, the traditional Souq Waqif, the Katara Cultural Village and the glass towers of West Bay sit within a short drive of each other.
- Public
- Doha Metro (Red, Gold and Green lines) and the Lusail Tram share one Travel Card: QAR 2 (~$0.55) standard single, QAR 6 (~$1.65) day pass. Karwa buses are cashless and Metrolink feeder buses are free with a valid card.
- Taxi
- Karwa taxis, Uber and Careem operate citywide; app fares are shown before booking.
- Rental
- Useful for Zekreet, Al Zubarah and the north coast, where public transport is thin.
- Walking
- Pleasant on the Corniche, in Msheireb and at Katara from November to March; summer heat makes walking unsafe for long periods.
