PLANO B is a multi-room club and cultural space on Rua de Ceuta in central Porto, widely regarded as the city's most artistically credible venue for electronic and alternative music. The crowd is young, mostly in their 20s, drawn from Porto's art, design, and music scenes, with a casual, unpretentious dress code — sneakers and streetwear are entirely normal, and there is no bottle-service or dress-to-impress culture. The atmosphere is loud and dense on the dancefloor during peak hours, while adjoining rooms and a bar area offer quieter space to step away from the music. Programming leans heavily on electronic music — house, techno, and experimental DJ sets — alongside occasional indie and alternative live acts and art exhibitions during the day. The drinks programme is simple and club-standard: beer, spirits, and mixed drinks at reasonable prices rather than a curated cocktail list. PLANO B operates primarily Friday and Saturday nights, opening from 2AM and running until early morning, in line with Porto's late club culture where venues open after the bars close rather than in the early evening. Cover charges range from €5 (~$5.80) to €15 (~$17.40) depending on the night and the DJ or act booked, with some special events priced higher. The club does not offer bottle service or table reservations in the traditional sense; entry is via the door, and queues can form for popular DJ nights, particularly during the peak 3–5AM window. Its central Baixa location makes it an easy final stop for a night that starts earlier in the Galerias de Paris bars nearby.
