La Misión Hotel Boutique

La Misión Hotel Boutique is positioned on Ruta 6 near Trinidad in the Itapúa department of southeastern Paraguay, the region that contains the most significant concentration of Jesuit mission ruins in the country. The UNESCO-listed ruins of Trinidad — the best-preserved Jesuit mission in South America — are within 3 km of the hotel, and the Jesús de Tavarangue ruins lie approximately 12 km further along the same road. Encarnación, the departmental capital and the gateway city for this region, is about 28 km to the south. The surrounding landscape is flat agricultural land interspersed with forested areas, and the hotel's own grounds provide a buffer of gardens and mature trees that generate a sense of isolation from the highway.

The building draws on colonial-era Jesuit architectural references: whitewashed walls, red-tile roofing, arched doorways, and interior courtyards planted with flowering shrubs.
