Aventura Backpackers Napier

Aventura Backpackers Napier occupies a beachfront position on Marine Parade in Napier South, placing it directly on the oceanfront promenade of one of New Zealand's most architecturally distinctive provincial cities. The hostel is a short walk from Napier's Art Deco city center, rebuilt almost entirely after the 1931 Hawke's Bay earthquake that levelled the original town. The reconstruction produced one of the most intact Art Deco streetscapes in the southern hemisphere, and the precinct attracts visitors specifically to walk its streets and visit the Art Deco Trust museum. Marine Parade itself carries a sequence of attractions along the beachfront — a small aquarium, a sunken gardens park, a bandstand, and a public art installation — all within strolling distance of the hostel.

The hostel operates a traditional backpacker model with mixed and female-only dormitories as well as a small number of private twin and double rooms. A fully equipped shared kitchen enables self-catering, reducing daily food costs.
