Kasbah Tamadot

Kasbah Tamadot, owned by Richard Branson's Virgin Limited Edition, sits in the village of Asni in the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains, roughly an hour's drive south of Marrakech on the road toward Toubkal National Park. The kasbah was originally an Italian-built private residence that Branson restored and expanded, retaining the fortress-like Berber architecture with crenellated towers while layering in Moorish arches, antique furnishings, and local crafts sourced from surrounding villages. Rooms span the original kasbah suites, individually decorated with antiques and handwoven textiles, plus separate Berber-style tents in the grounds for a more rustic stay, all looking out over the Atlas peaks or the resort's terraced gardens.
