Mayaland Hotel & Bungalows

Mayaland Hotel & Bungalows was built in 1923 as the first hotel to serve Chichén Itzá and sits inside its own walled tropical garden a few minutes' walk from the ruins' entrance, making it one of the closest and longest-established hotels at the site. The property blends its original colonial-era main building with later bungalow rooms scattered through gardens planted with palms and native flora, giving it a resort-like footprint distinct from the smaller boutique haciendas elsewhere in Yucatán. Three outdoor pools, including a dedicated children's pool, serve the property alongside horseback riding on the grounds, a feature aimed at families and groups rather than solely couples.
